NFLX, the deal has been finalized.
The deal is done. After Paramount raised its offer to 31 USD per share for Warner Bros.Discovery, Netflix chose not to counter. Instead, it walked away and collected a 2.8 billion USD termination fee. The original bid valued key studio and streaming assets at 27.75 USD per share. But at 31 USD per share for the whole company, Netflix remained disciplined. Now Paramount takes on the regulatory risk, including a potential 7 billion USD breakup fee and ticking penalties of 25c per share per quarter after 30 September 2026. Netflix loses the asset. But keeps its balance sheet strong. And avoids a costly bidding war. Sometimes the smartest move is knowing your price. Stay ready for what moves next with Exness.
